The Intel® Core™ i9-14900KS is a special “Special Edition” flagship processor from the 14th Gen “Raptor Lake Refresh” lineup. It is essentially a highly binned (cherry-picked) version of the i9-14900K, pushed to the absolute limits of current silicon.
The “KS” stands for “Special,” and its primary claim to fame is being the first consumer processor to reach a 6.20 GHz out-of-the-box turbo frequency.
